Do you have some big middle of the night processes running? I'm just curious since I've had issues hitting the site a few times late at night. It kind of varies from what looks like a DNS issue to a DB timeout.

Yep, been having some issues on the server farm.

The kiddies got some new bots, and its pushing a little too much traffic. The servers set the disks to read-only mode in the case of unusual behavior. This kills any interactive content, such as forums. Should have it ironed out before long.
