SVD's are on the top end, and go for a LOT more money. ;)

Haha, yea, just read the Shotgun News article on semi auto sniper rifles. For now I'm thinking I just want something I can plunk dirt cheap corrosive ammo downrange with. My precision stuff will be with one of the AR10's I just picked up, or maybe the M700 in 300 WinMag I'm planning on putting together sometime soon.

Hard to beat a PSL for that activity. SVT's are quite a bit more expensive, and harder to get setup with an optic. Using the cheapest ammo I can find, my PSL will run 2-3MOA. Good enough for some fun. :)

Never thought about a semi in the 7.62 X 54R round until seeing this thred. I bought alot of 440rnd tins about 5 years ago for my MOSIN when they were cheap, ($54.00), I think ill start reasearching for a good one. Hears the ones I am looking at, that are chambered for the round. Have to see if any of the MGs are available in semi.
