http://www.bushnell.com/products/binoculars/fusion/

UPS just dropped mine off about an hour ago. I was looking to get a set of swarovski laserguide's but these are new and a couple hundred bucks cheaper. The reviews I've read say they range farther than the swaro's.

So far, I've stepped out in the street and ranged vehicles out to just past 1600yds with them. Got a few "wtf are you doin" looks in the process. :) I need to get the hell out of the office and out to the farm so I can really stretch them out.

Ranged the neighbors house. 1790yds. That is pretty damn accurate.

Here's some other stuff I hit:
large tree at 1300yds
my 300yd berm - it was correct
my 100yd berm - it was correct
small tree at 724yds
tree belt at 485yds
telephone pole at 1388yds

Gonna have to go drive around and further test its ability. Thus far, its impressive. Its also very bright and sunny today, which is notoriously bad conditions for LRF's.

Are you doing that just holding them and getting good ranges or do you have them on a tripod?

Just holding them. It only takes a second. I test stuff under "field conditions" as much as possible.

One thing I noticed about them is that under full sunlight conditions, the red reticle can be pretty hard to see. It could definitely be brighter. I would have preferred a black reticle, with the option to illuminate.

Just ranged a deer at 586yds. I'll continue to report on their effectiveness.
