I like to shoot a few different holds.Off a bench as solid as possible. And offhand normal shooting etc. to see possible impact differences.

double hearing protection might help cure some involuntary flinching while training.Atleast while getting used to the gun.

Be careful about the hammer method for moving the sights. I've talked to a few smith's about putting new sights on my xd sc and a couple won't even touch it because the don't have that tool shown above. The XD's have really tight dovetails I guess.....not sure about the XD M's though.

Well, I've been shooting this thing a LOT.

I'm slowly developing technique to keep things on target. Its amazing how much more discipline it takes to shoot this handgun well, when compared to my target pistol. I have a 22 target pistol that I can repeatably and quite easily shoot pop cans with at 50yds. This XDM is a all together different animal!

So far, squeezing hard with my non-firing hand seems to help keep the shots to the right and in line with my POA. I've tried many different trigger finger placements as well as trigger squeeze techniques and none of that seemed to matter. I concluded that my trigger control is just fine, but my grip needs work.

Any pointers?

Yeah brightstar, I can read pretty well. As helpful as that post was for your post count, it wasn't really helpful otherwise was it?

However, I have applied what has already been said, and have seemingly narrowed it down to GRIP problems. When I change my grip, my POI also changes. So I was asking if people had any pointers in that regard.

OK, Orkan, this may or may not help (or you may have tried it already). But have you tried rotation your hand counterclockwise (for right handed hold, reverse for lefties) as you grip the gun. IE it rests more on the thumb/palm then the entire hand. One thing, it straightens out the hand alignment a bit. And no, I'm not talking about the rotated gansta hollywood sideways hold crap.

How do you grip with the other hand?!?

Well, I put my right hand on the gun, then I grip my other "hand" so to speak with my non-firing hand. What I meant was, when I sqeeze harder with my non-firing hand than I do with my firing... it seems to straighten things out. Feels pretty awkward, but has produced results.

I'll try some rotation as you mentioned. I gave it a try before, but it got my trigger finger out of alignment.

Just trying to help a feller out. You said it was hitting right, aim left. And who the hell is counting what?
